I’ve heard of this place for a long time. The interior was very clean and bright with some space to sit. Their flavors were amazing. They’re definitely unique and tropical. The staff let us tried a couple flavors and all of them were really impressive. They were like juice burst in your mouth. The price was also very good. We were able to get three flavors with the medium cup and he gave us a decent amount. I would definitely recommend trying the pandan leaf and mangosteen. And I can’t wait to come back to try more.
TLDR: old classic that moved locations, get all your Asian flavors here! I have been coming here since I was young so when they finally moved locations, I hadn’t had it for almost a year so I had to come get some. Durian is my absolute favorite but their other flavors like lychee, mango and so many more are amazing. Service was friendly, quick and efficient but I do think they need to have a bit more circulation inside as it gets really stuffy
Super yummy! They have so many Asian inspired flavors and this is now my favorite spot in all of San Fran! I went here in the dead of winter and it was so worth it, even sitting out in the cold. Can’t wait to go back, that durian ice cream has a GRIP on me.
Super tasty! Seven of us tried just about every flavor and loved them all. Sesame and the Thai iced tea were my personal favorite. My uncle said guava tasted like Hawaii.
There are many different flavors of ice cream that you wouldn’t get anywhere else it’s like the actual flavors of the fruits or items. It’s a lot of fun when you can try sour sop, Thai tea, mangosteen, coconut, jackfruit, green tea, durian, double chocolate, mango, vanilla bean, coffee vsop, Pandan leaf, lychee, sesame, red bean, pistachio, mocha chip, guava, taro, mint chocolate chip, strawberry, fresh banana. The flavors taste like the real thing. So you will enjoy this experience. Outdoor and indoor seating. Parking is on the street w meters.
Been going to Marco Polo since it was on Taraval St for the last 20 plus years. The new location is nice. I usually order the mango and jack fruit but not I just resort to jack fruit. There are no words to describe the taste but delicious! Go and try the different flavors. Tip: there is a Marco Polo in SJ too
Very excited to know my all time gelato place moved and still in SF. They posted a note that they will be moving to SJ. Very happy to see them in the new location. My favorites are Macha, Lychee, Thai Tea and double chocolate. Hot weather these days in SF and this is the right spot to be!
Really good gelato, has a nice texture and you can try samples. Loved the chocolate and taro, we got a large for 9 that had 4 flavors
